Your vein specialist’s primary concern is making sure you feel at ease at every stage of your treatment, from your initial consultation, to your last follow-up appointment. At your first meeting, your provider will discuss your health history, examine areas of concern, evaluate your condition, and answer all of your questions. You’ll discuss whether or not an ultrasound and/or mapping are required at this or a follow-up appointment, which will assist in a diagnosis, treatment plan, and estimated number of treatments.

Insurance Information

At your first appointment, you’ll meet an office manager who will talk through your insurance coverage and how it can apply to your specific diagnosis and treatment. You’ll also learn about other payment options for procedures that are deemed cosmetic and therefore not covered by insurance. They’ll also make sure you know when your treatment will begin, and what to expect at that time.
